FINISH: Fully upholstered chair with tight back and semi-attached seat cushion
1. Product to have the following: tight back and semi-attached seat cushion.
2. Removable cover. Fabricate with double rolled French seams and concealed Teflon coated or nylon zipper.
3. Upholstery, foam, batting, padding, and/or dacron wrap must meet all state and local flammability requirements for property location. Must at minimum meet NFPA 260/CAL 117.
4. Manufacturer must verify all fabric quantity requirements.
5. Manufacturer to provide heavy-duty nylon furniture glides.
6. Show all pieces in shop drawings.
7. To be of contract quality and suitable for commercial use.
8. Manufacturer to provide finish samples for approval prior to production.
9. Fully upholstered frames to be constructed of select hardwoods and hardwood plywood. Exposed wood frames to be constructed of maple and beech hardwoods. Hardwood frames to be assembled using double dowels, screws, glue, and corner blocks. Plywood frames to be assembled using interlocking joints, screws, glue and staples. All metal parts of interior hardware must be non-corrosive, guaranteed against rust and corrosion, suitable for use in varying climatic conditions.
10. All materials and methods of construction must comply with local fire and life safety codes for use in hotels and other public spaces.
11. Refer to drawings for location.
12. Ensure that piece will fit in elevators and through doors prior to commencing fabrication.
13. Manufacturer to clearly mark each carton with item ID and specification number.
